Feldmans on Latvia: the Germans have declared the property of the German State all properties in Latvia which had been nationalised under the regime of the Latvian-Soviet Republic; for the first time in the history of Latvia, a ghetto was created at Riga; the Latvians who first hoped to find rescue from the Germans, then hoped in their defeat; Feldmans, who believed in the revival of the League of Nations, hoped to see the signing of the peace in the Assembly Hall; a few books read by S.
