Series consists of records relating to the financial transactions of the No. 10 hospital. Included are financial statements, audits, balance sheets and banking records of the unit’s messes and other regimental funds; audit, ledger, banking records and vouchers of the Emergency Fund; correspondence and lists relating to the tablets installed in the hospital’s wards to recognize individuals contributing $25 or more to the Emergency Fund; and statements and receipts for a garden party held in 1917 to raise funds for the Emergency Fund. Among the receipts for the garden party is one signed by Guy Lombardo, whose orchestra performed at the event.

- The Emergency Fund comprised monies raised for the No. 10 hospital through donations to Western University. Goods purchased from the Emergency Fund were the property of Western University.
- Loose vouchers and receipts have been removed from volumes and placed in folders.
