Dr. Meek was born near Fingal in 1854 and graduated from the University of Toronto as a silver medallist. He taught material medica and therapeutics and then became Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1913 at Western where he served for seven years.
Dr. Gibson graduated from Western University in 1890. He worked at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and the London Hospital then was appointed Professor of Anatomy at the University of Buffalo at the age of twenty six.
Dr. Hugh Alexander McCallum was born in 1860 and is the brother of fellow doctor, A. B. McCallum Sr. He attended St. Thomas Collegiate before Western’s Medical School from 1883-1886, where he graduated as gold medalist. In 1913 he was elected president of the Ontario Medical Association and Dean of Medicine at Western. McCallum died in 1921 of pneumonia.
Dr. MacLaren was born in the County of Lanark, Ontario. He graduated from Trinity Medical College of Toronto in 1873 and in 1892 moved to London. He worked at, and was a member of the consulting staff of Victoria General Hospital.
Cyril Francis Sullivan graduated with an M.D. from Western University in 1931. He received his registration with the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons on June 11, 1934. As of 1954, he was practicing in London. (Taken from the Ontario Medical Register, 1954).
William Thomas Gemmell was a doctor who graduated from Trinity College in 1903.
He received his registration with the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons on June 24, 1904.

Gustav Mahler was born July 7, 1860 in the City of Jihlava to Bernard Mahler and Marie Mahler-Herrmann. Gustav was educated as a child in Jihlava and Prague. In 1875, Gustav entered the Conservatory of Vienna and eventually the University of Vienna. As the oldest of the many Mahler siblings to survive to adulthood, he eventually became the provider and caregiver of his siblings when his parents passed away in 1889. Gustav Mahler rose in fame and notoriety as he established himself as one of the leading conductors of his generation. He held conducting posts in many opera houses in Europe and was appointed the director of the Vienna Court Opera (Hofoper) in 1897. Throughout his career he collaborated and communicated with other largely known musical contemporaries. On March 9, 1902 Gustav Mahler and Alma Schindler were married in Vienna, Austria. Gustav and Alma had two children, Maria Anna and Anna Justine Mahler. Mahler continued to conduct and compose in New York and Europe until late in his life. Gustav Mahler passed away on May 18, 1911 in Vienna, Austria. His musical compositions gained popularity after his death and his symphonies have stood the test of time.
