Balloon-launching ceremony to mark the beginning of the second phase of the campaign to raise funds for the new hospital. Three of the 288 balloons launched by employees Mona Lyle and Wayne Ross contained prizes. The event was attended by Bill Brady as master of ceremonies and Mayor Al Gleeson.
