Tower (report no. 125) - Transmits copy of despatch No.176 to the Foreign Office, London, respecting application made to the Danzig Provisional Council, for a definite pledge of their intention to refund the British Government for these expenses. Attaches translated copy of a letter from Herr Sahm stating reasons for the inability of the Council to give the required declaration.

Tower (report no. 103) - States in reference to the opening of the above that the Press, both local and German, has commented sympathetically on the proceedings and on the prospects of the Free City under the League of Nations.
