R132/4/3689/3689 Unemployment - Sir Reginald Tower - Transmits copy of despatch No.54 to the President of the Council of Ambassadors dealing with the causes of, and measures being taken to alleviate, unemployment. Encouraged by the Revolution in Berlin the Spartacist element in Danzig arranged a public meeting with the object of upsetting the Government and establishing their own. A "warning" was issued by Sir R. Tower (copy attached) and the meeting passed off peacefully. File 1920.03.27
