The Government of Democratic Kampuchea today signed the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, both opened for signature in New York on 19 December 1966. It also signed the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 18 December 1979
