Honduras today ratified the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. It binds parties to take steps with a view to achieving progressively the full realization of series of rights, including the right to work and to form and join trade unions, to education, to social security, to an adequate standard of living, to education, to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health and to take part in cultural life.
