The annual Human Rigts Day Concert took place in the General Assembly Hall this evening and performances were given by Zagrebacki Solisti (I Solisti di Zagreb) and the Dancers and Musicians of Bali. The concert also included a statement by the President of the General Assembly , Lazar Mojaov of Yugoslavia, and a reading of the Preamble of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by Mrs. Coretta Scott King, widow of the late Marin Luther King, Jr. .
Dancers and Musicians of Bali perfoming. It was in 1931 that the Balinese first ventured from Indonesia in Paris, and not until 20 years later were they seen in New York. The Dancers and Musicians from the village of Sebatu first came to New York in 1973 and had a triumphant reception.
