Fonds consists of records produced throughout Walter Thompson’s career. Included are records relating to Thompson’s role as a Drury College alumnus, primarily planning alumni events for his fellow graduates. The fonds also contains case problems and assigned management readings from Harvard Business School as well as correspondence and reports from when Thompson worked for the U.S. Office of Price Administration during the war years. Also included are records relating to Thompson’s role as a professor at the University of Western Ontario (UWO): documents produced from planning, implementing, and evaluating the Management Training Course; documents prepared for the release of Learning to Lead: in Celebration of Nine Decades of Business Education at Ivey, 1923-2013; Business Quarterly Articles authored by Thompson; itineraries and information about conferences Thompson attended; agendas, minutes, and correspondence from committees Walter Thompson served on or interacted with at UWO; UWO student information, grades, and reports; UWO School of Business Administration faculty information; cases used in the Marketing Management Course at UWO; and various other records relating to the School of Business Administration at UWO in general.
