Incorporated under the Corporations Act in April 1983, Nokee Kwe Occupational Skill Development's objective was to provide life skills and employment training for native women in London. The corporation initially provided a 26-week program of life skills classes, technical training, a career awareness program, and an external work experience. With funding from various government programs and revenues generated from its production shop, the organization provided bindery, post-printing and finishing, and sub- contracting services. Currently, Nokee Kwe offers a career assessment, planning and employment program, as well as basic educational and literacy services.

Records held by Margaret Simpson until transferred to the London Women's History Group in 2005.
Scope and content
Series consists of records relating to the incorporation, governance and operations of Nokee Kwe. Included are letters patent, by-laws, resolutions, accounts payable records, personnel policy and correspondence, premises leases and correspondence, correspondence to N'Amerind regarding the transfer of assets, promotional materials and general notes.
