Correspondence exchanged between the Foreign Affairs (Mowinckel) and Secretary-General regarding adhesion of Norway to the identity certificates system and its position on the main points of the legal status and issue of Russian refugees' passports; arrangement of 30 June 1928 and more specifically para. 9 on the legal status of Russian and Armenian refugees (issuing of a return visa by the country delivering the Nansen certificate).

This file contains correspondence, namely between the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary General, regarding administrative issues (form of the Passport), accounts for stamps delivered, endorsement of cheques (correspondence with the Accounts Section of LoN).

In reply to the questionnaire of 24 July 1922 gives various information, collected by the Norwegian Commercial Delegation in Moscow, concerning the economic situation in Russia, as well as a document regarding the river transport conditions in Russia.

• Correspondence regarding the request of the Norwegian Government that the question of international assistance to refugees be included in the agenda of the 16th ordinary Session of the Assembly of the League of Nations
• A memorandum regarding the death of Fridtjof Nansen and the decision of the League of Nations to entrust the humanitarian work undertaken by him as High Commissioner for Refugees to the Nansen International Office, which was set up as an autonomous organisation under the authority of the League of Nations
• League of Nations document A.13.1935.XII "International assistance to refugees - Note by the Secretary-General".
