File contains correspondence describing the different sources of refugee-related records from the creation of the League until end of 1929:

(1) files constituted by the Secretariat until 1924;
(2) the files constituted by ILO from 1925 to 1929 inclusive;
(3) files constituted successively by the Secretariat for use by the Transit, Political and Social Sections from 1925 to 1929 inclusive;

and what type of records remain with which office after the creation of the International Nansen Office for the Refugees, an independent office to deal with refugee affairs.

File contains statistics of Russian and Armenian refugees evacuated from Greece, statistics of emigration by country and continent as well as according to the profession, requests, distribution of assistance lists, receipts and reimbursement of financial assistance to refugees.

File contains Nansen stamps distributed to the Armenian refugees, statistics of Russian and Armenian refugees in and evacuated from Greece, number of Nansen certificates issued, tracing requests carried out, discussion on the issuance of Nansen passports to refugees, insurance contracts for personnel travelling for official purposes, list of BIT (International Labour Office) Section of Refugees delegates in different countries.

The file contains statistics of Russian and Armenian refugees evacuated, Nansen certificates issued, statements of office expenses, sales of Nansen stamps.
