Proposed International Opium Conference at Washington - Communicated by Mr. Tufton (British Foreign Office) - Transmits letter from the British Embassy at Washington enclosing a memorandum reporting a conversation between Mr. Wellesley and Mr. MacMurray Head of the Far Eastern Division of the State Department in which Mr. MacMurray stated that the American Government preferred to await the results of the activities of the League regarding the Opium question before coworking on opium conference.

Legal measures for the total suppression of Traffic in Opium and other drugs - Council of the League - Resolution proposed by Mr. Jean Gont regarding increased penalties for illicit traffic in drugs, suggesting that the Opium Advisory Committee should report to the Council each year on the suppression of the illicit traffic in drugs in various countries. It was decided to refer this Resolution to the Opium Advisory Committee.
