Opium Preparatory Committee - Opium Preparatory Committee (Geneva) - Report by Mr. Branting and resolution adopted by the Council 12 March 1924: 1) That the Opium Preparatory Committee be requested to undertake the preparatory work for the First Conference in addition to that for the Second Conference with which it is already dealing. 2) That the Secretary-General should be requested to communicate with the Governments named in Resolution 1 and 3 of the Preparatory Committee, inviting thorn to nominate representatives who could be called upon to collaborate with the Committee when necessary.
