  • Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations) was built between 1929 and 1938 as the headquarters of the League of Nations. Since the 1950s, it has served as the seat of the European headquarters of the United Nations, known as the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG). It stands in the Ariana Park overlooking Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc beyond.
