Scope and content

Item is a photograph taken at the demolition site of Queen's Avenue [old] School. Seven identified men are standing in front of debris. Left to right: Walter Aiken (Adby Demolition), Robert H. Rae (EPSB Chairman), Walter Ramsay (first principal of Queen's Avenue [old] School), Ross S. Sheppard (EPS Superintendent), William Rea (pioneer principal of Edmonton High School), Harry G. Turner (EPSB Secretary-Treasurer), James MacDonald (EPSB Trustee). Mr. Aitken and Mr. Rae hold the cornerstone box [time capsule], and Mr. MacDonald holds the document found in the cornerstone box.
