              This file contains mainly correspondence regarding a newly created central organ coordinating the relief work. Letters are exchanged between Mr. Schlesinger, the delegate of the HCR in Germany, and Mr. de Watteville, deputy High Commissioner, on the subject of temporary housing for the destitute, and other forms of assistance to the refugees in which coordination with the Russian organisations is required, as well as support from the German government.

              This file contains correspondence on the subject of destitute Jewish Russian refugees in Germany, as raised by Dr. Jacob Teitel, president of the above union. The correspondence is exchanged with the Union and the German delegate, Mr. Schlesinger.
