The governmental scientific exhibition "Atoms for Development", organized at the Palais des Expositions in Geneva by 19 participating countries, in connexion with the 4th International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy, was officially inaugurated today. The Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, Mr. V. Winspeare Guicciardi, opened the exhibition on behalf of the UN Secretary-General, in the presence of Dr Glenn T. Seaborg (USA), President of the Conference, Dr. Sigvard Eklund Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, as well as representatives of the Swiss authorities and Heads of delegations to the Conference.
