In April, 1975, the Sexual Assault Crisis Line service was established. It was initially administered by a Committee of the Board of Directors of the London Women's Resource Centre. In March 1985, the Sexual Assault Crisis Line was incorporated as a separate body from the London Women's Resource Centre and renamed the Sexual Assault Centre London with its own Board of Directors administering all operations.
Custodial history
Records held by Blanch Savage, Marg McGill and Barb MacQuarrie until transferred to the London Women's History Group in 2010.
Scope and content
Series consists of records relating to the operations of the Sexual Assault Centre. Included are background and training materials, annual reports, meeting announcements and minutes, financial statements, correspondence, symposium information, grant proposals and general information.
