The records consist of correspondence with regard to questions of human rights and refugees, stateless and displaced persons. The file includes communications concerning the plight of Chinese refugees in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Palestine Arab refugees and Koreans in Japan. The records contain a communication from a group of Greek refugees in the Soviet Union which was handled in accordance with ECOSOC resolution 728 F (XXVIII) in that it was treated as a communication involving human rights and transmitted to the Greek government.
