The records contain correspondence with regard to resolution 15 (XXVII) of the Commission on Human Rights on the protection of journalists engaged in dangerous missions. In accordance with resolution 15 (XXVII) a Working Group was established to consider the composition of an international professional committee for the protection of journalists as well as the conditions, procedure and criteria for the issue and withdrawal of a safe-conduct card. The file includes submissions from governments containing the names of professional organizations qualified to nominate for this committee.
