The UN Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, which convened yesterday for its 12th session, this afternoon continued consideration of the report by Dr. Arcot Krishaswani, of India, on discrimination in religious rights and practices.
Here, two of the participants in the current session, Judge Philip Halphern (left) of the United States; and Mohamed Abu Rannat, of the Sudan, are seen exchanging views shortly before the meetings got under way.
