Canadian Red Cross Society, London & Middlesex Branch - Veterans' Arts & Crafts Program. Patients, staff and volunteers, products and sales, anniversaries, celebrations and workshops that comprised the Red Cross arts & crafts program for veterans housed in the old and new Western Counties Wing. The broad range of crafts taught to and practiced by the veterans viz., basket making, carpentry, ceramics, copper enameling, miniature furniture making, jewelry, leather tooling, painting, paper making, quilting, rug hooking, stained glass work, toy making and weaving are richly illustrated in the photographs, together with award winning displays at the Canadian National Exhibition and London's Western Fair.
