Biographical history

The Women’s Christian Association Archives was founded on August 26, 1987, by the WCA Board of Directors. The WCA Archives was officially opened on January 17, 1991, and was housed in the new Arthur J. Hobbins Building on the site of Parkwood Hospital. The Archives was closed around 2005, when all its materials were donated to Western University Archives & Special Collections.
