Series consists of records created and acquired by the Women's Studies committee of the Western Caucus on Women's Issues in the course of working to establish women's studies as a discipline at the university. Included are a directory of women's studies courses, proposals for a program in women's studies, records relating to women's studies programs at other North American universities, information about library holding and a report from the Ministry of Education about women's studies programs. Also included are minutes of committee meetings, notes, correspondence and promotional materials such as brochures and posters.
