A Report on the 1979 Staff (School) Opinion Survey : Edmonton Public Schools

Item is a report detailing the results of a district wide school staff opinions survey conducted in June 1979. The survey was initiated in 1979 by Superintendent Strembitsky as a tool to monitor principals in the newly implemented district wide School Based Budgeting. The survey director was Dr. Mosychuk, Monitoring and Assessment Services.

Gross Motor Performance and Motor Learning of Educable Mentally Retarded Boys : A Preliminary Report / Patricia L. Austin

Item is report funded by the Department of National Health and Welfare, Fitness and Amateur Sport and by the University of Alberta. The subjects were boys in the Intermediate Opportunity Classes of Edmonton Public Schools. The study provides information on the physical fitness and gross motor ability of the subjects. It also compares two structured physical education programs.

Series consists of Annual Reports from Alberta Education. Prior to 1949-50, the reports cover the calendar year. Beginning in 1949-50, the reports cover the school year. Each Annual Report includes reports from divisions within Alberta Education as well as statistics. The 1907 Annual Report includes appendices which address regulations of the Department of Education, programs of study, and Annual Examinations. Dates are not inclusive, many years missing.
