Ammunition for Poland at the Port of Danzig - Transmits copy of despatch No. 114 to the Conference of Ambassadors, stating that Greeks ships, carrying ammunition for Poland, have arrived in the Port, but that Danzig dockers refuse to handle ammunition. As any interference on the part of Sir R. Tower may lead to a port strike, he has refused to take any action, pending instructions from the Conference of Ambassadors, unless assured that Polish Government are in urgent need of ammunition.

Ammunition for Poland at the Port of Danzig - Sir R. Tower (Report No. 114) - Transmits copy of despatch No. 116 to the President of the Council of Ambassadors, reporting refusal of the Danzig dockers to handle munitions of war for Poland in S.S. "Triton". The dockets were willing to allow British soldiers to unload the ship, but the employment of Poles would undoubtedly have led to a general strike of the dock labourers.

Ammunition for Poland at the Port of Danzig - Sir R. Tower (Report No. 115) - Transmits copy of despatch No. 117 to the President of the Council of Ambassadors, explaining that the chief reason for the hesitation in insisting on S.S. Triton being unloaded by Poles was the fear of a general strike and consequent interruption of food supplies to Poland. Polish Commissioner has now stated that Poland is in no present need of food supplies. Food conditions in Danzig are very bad. Poles have stopped sending potatoes.
