Tower (no. 128) - Transmits copy of despatch No.177 to the Foreign Office, London, detailing steps taken, so far without result, in the endeavour to obtain coal from England. Begs Lord Curzon to use his influence in this direction as the shortage of fuel is the cause of the serious position in which Danzig is now placed. Attaches statement on the subject by General Haking. File 1920.08.16
R136/4/11569/6260 Supply of coal to Danzig - Reparations Commission (Paris) - States decision of Reparations Commission to allot to Danzig a specified quantity of coal from Upper Silesia, to be transported in manner desired by the Danzig Government. Requests that Danzig High Commissioner be informed telegraphically of this decision. Arrangements for payment and transport of the coal must be made between the Danzig Government and the other interested parties. File 1921.03.14
