This fonds consists of his certificates as well as records from the James A. Gibson Anatomical Society.

Contains certificates from the University of Western Ontario, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, The Hospital for Sick Children, London England, New York State Medical Association, State of New York Physicians and Surgeons Certificate.

This series contains the constitution of the James A. Gibson Anatomical Society, correspondence from the University of Buffalo about the Anatomical Society and two photographs, one a headshot of Gibson the other a class photo of the University of Western Ontario Medical class of 1890. There is also a letter from the University of Buffalo Medical Department to Gibson thanking him, and includes student signatures.

This series contains a Calvary Church of Buffalo pamphlet, and a 25 page article by The University of Buffalo.
