Item is a coil-bound report written by Extension Services and submitted to the Edmonton Public School Board. It looks at the potential for Community Schools in Edmonton and at the Community School pilot projects at M. E. LaZerte and Spruce Avenue schools. It examines changes that would need to be made for the Community School concept to be successfully implemented, and it makes recommendations.

Item is a prospectus for M. E. LaZerte High School which describes the philosophy of the school. It includes photographs of the school, teachers and students. It also includes a floor plan of the school as well as a biography and the curriculum vitae of Dr. Milton Ezra LaZerte.
