Item is a photograph of three Edmonton Public School teachers, left to right Miss Mable Calder, Eric Marsh, and [Anna Mary] "May" Megrath, walking in downtown Edmonton. They have just left the Civic Block building after meeting with Superintendent McKee on the final day of school. The Civic Block was located at 10205 99 Street, and housed the offices of Edmonton School District No. 7 from 1915-1947.

Item is the minutes of Committee on School Management of Edmonton School District No. 7. The committee was also known as the Management Committee. Minutes address staffing and building issues and include complaints about Superintendent McCaig. Both Superintendents McCaig and McKee were on the Committee. Most minutes are signed by both the Secretary, W. D. Bradley, and the Chairman, S. A. G. Barnes.

Series contains reports given by the Edmonton Public Schools Superintendent to the Board of Trustees pertaining to the administration of Edmonton Public Schools. These reports present information, enquiries and recommendations. This series also contains reports and information presented to the Superintendent by committees, school officials and outside agencies. The subject matter in the reports varies, but most information relates to expenditures and budget. The Superintendents responsible for the reports are James McCaig (1906-1913), W.L. Richardson (Acting Nov-Dec 1913), W.G. Carpenter (1914-1923), George A. McKee (1924-1940) and Ross S. Sheppard (1940-1955).
