Excellent view of the Chatham downtown commercial area. Several horse drawn delivery wagons are shown. A horse drawn streetcar dates the photo to pre- 1895. Behind the horse car there is a passing siding , an arrangement of tracks that enabled streetcars to pass each other on what was otherwise a single track.
