    Series documents the administration and operation of the International Olympic Committee and its Board and Executive Committee, as well as James Worrall's personal involvement as a voting member of the IOC from 1967 to 1974, an elected member of the Executive Committee from 1974 to 1989, and an Honorary Member since then. It comprises extensive Board and committee meeting records, including notes, minutes, agendas and related material; IOC Congress, annual meeting and conference materials and session proceedings; internal and external memoranda and correspondence; membership information and biographies; accreditation categories and privileges for IOC members; various internal reports and planning documents; and speeches by senior officials (e.g., Avery Brundage, Lord Killanin). It also includes records relating to specific programs and activities, including promotional material; use of the Olympic symbol, flag and anthem; trademark applications; coin, medallion and stamp programs; the Olympic Order; television and broadcasting rights, advertising, and media coverage; proposals for changes to rules and regulations; mission policies; athlete eligibility; medical commissions, drug use, anti-doping initiatives, and sanctions; code of ethics for accredited laboratories; rules relating to games bids and proposals, including site selection and inspection; and correspondence with various national committees. Also includes records relating to such organizations and institutions as the International Olympic Academy, Commission for the Olympic Movement, Court of Arbitration for Sport, and the Olympic Museum, and extensive correspondence, notes, comments, drafts and meeting records documenting Worrall's role as chair of the special commission tasked to revise the Olympic Charter.
