Item is the minutes of the Informal Committee, made up of Edmonton Public School Trustees and School Board Officials. The Superintendent of Schools attended most Informal Committee meetings. A variety of issues about school sites, employment and student concerns were discussed, some reflecting wartime circumstances.

It received monthly accounts from the Building Commissioner, information from the Engineer and Superintendent, and concerns from other parties.
