Series documents the activities of COJO in planning, conducting and evaluating the results of the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, as well as James Worrall's personal involvement as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. It consists of Board and committee meeting materials and minutes; bid materials including the bid book; various planning and operations documents; policies and procedures; agreements and contracts with partners; applications for trademark use; budgets and related financial documents; internal and external memos and correspondence, including government letters of support; and newsletters, press releases, and media relations and coverage. It also includes a wide range of subject files dealing with construction plans, schedules and costs; insurance issues; ticket policies, trademarks; team officials and selection criteria; various programs, including the coin program, poster project, and arts and culture program; and the Olympic village, as well as individual files on all sporting events that took place at the Games.
