The sub-sub-series consists of documents concerning company governance. This company was a wholly owned subsidiary of Labatt Breweries of Canada Limited, which in turn was a wholly owned subsidiary of John Labatt Limited. It was incorporated by federal letters patent on May 28, 1971. The company was not the same entity as Oland’s Breweries (1971) Limited, New Brunswick Division, which was a separate business. On June 15, 1971, Olands New Brunswick Brewery Limited resolved to purchase the land and buildings formerly owned by Olands Brewery Limited in Saint John New Brunswick. Thereafter, it did not have a substantive role in brewing operations. On July 24, 1978, the company obtained a certificate of continuance in order to officially add the name La Brasserie Oland Nouveau Brunswick Limitée to their name. Olands New Brunswick Brewery Limited re-amalgamated with Oland Breweries Limited on November 1, 1979.
