Files were in the custody of Human Resources prior to transfer to Archives and Museum on February 7, 1985. In response to the implementation of the District's retention and disposition schedule, all the personnel files were relocated to the Central Records Storage Facility under the control of District Records and FOIP Management in Aug 2008 to be appropriately destroyed. During the relocation, Archives and Museum decided to selectively retain some of the personnel files for their inherent information.
Scope and content
Series contained personnel files for all staff groups employed by Edmonton Public Schools. Series was arrange alphabetically by surname. Dates reflect the retirement or resignation date of the employees. Files that were selectively retained are accessible by surname in the holdings of Archives and Museum.
