Item transferred to Archives and Museum from Human Resources on February 7, 1985. Files remained in the custody of Archives and Museum until 2008. In response to the District's retention and disposition schedule, all the personnel files were relocated to the Central Records Storage Facility under he control of District Records and FOIP Management in August 2008 to be appropriately destroyed. During this transfer, Archives and Museum decided to selectively retain some of the personnel files for their inherent information.
Scope and content
Series contained personnel files for all staff groups employed by Edmonton Public Schools. Series was arranged alphabetically. Dates reflect retirement of resignation of the employees. Files that were selectively retained are accessible by surname in the holdings of Archives and Museum.
