The teaching of business administration began at Western in 1922 under the title Commercial Economics. In 1950 the School of Business Administration was established and a year later moved into a spacious Tudor residence north of the campus. In 1957 the School moved to the new Richard G. Ivey School of Business Administration building and the Tudor house known as Goodholme became the A E Silverwood Building and home to the Faculty of Music. Today the structure is known as Dante Lenardon Hall and is part of Kings University College campus.
