109 days after he had performed the world’s first heart transplant on Dr. Phillip Blaiberg, Dr. Christian Barnard visited London to address 500 medical students, interns and medical faculty at UWO. Several years later following construction of University hospital London developed an international reputation in the field of organ transplants not only of the heart but kidney lungs and liver. Dr. Barnard is seen arriving in front of Middlesex College and lecturing in the theatre.
