The Westminster chimes of the Middlesex College clock are produced by five bells tuned E, B, E, F sharp and G sharp. The smallest bells weighs 200 lbs and the largest one over a ton. The mechanism is rewound automatically by electric motors. Manufactured by Gillett and Johnston of London, England, the clock weighing five tons was installed in October 1960.
