Beginning in 1965 and continuing for almost 20 years, a popular annual campus event was the Winter Carnival Week. Each year intricate snow and ice sculptures would appear scattered across the campus. The very best were judged and awarded prizes by the University Students Council. In the 1982 competition (above) The Dentistry Class of 1985 ‘parked’ their General Motors Chevy ‘57 Incisor in front of University College.
