Series consists of records relating to Walter Thompson's role as a professor at the University of Western Ontario (UWO). Included are Management Training Course (MTC) recap booklets, documents planning the MTC as well as reunions, student suggestions for the course in the future, student information cards, cases used, correspondence relating to Thompson's role as director, and photographs of the members of the MTC. The series contains records relating to the production of Learning to Lead: in Celebration of Nine Decades of Business Education at Ivey, 1923-2013, including chapter drafts and correspondence and memos as well as Business Quarterly articles and a letter to the editor of the business journal authored by Walter Thompson. Also included are itineraries, transcripts, and information about conferences or seminars held by UWO or attended by Walter Thompson, in addition to agendas, minutes, and correspondence relating to committees Walter Thompson served on or interacted with. The series contains student information, grades, and reports, as well as memos, correspondence, and reports to faculty relating to course material and school policies, staff files and curriculum vitae, and a staff directory relating to the faculty of the School of Business Administration at Western. Also included are cases used in the Marketing Management Course at UWO as well as various records relating to the School of Business Administration such as strategic plans, course information, documents relating to planning the Colloquium, the draft constitution of the School, a report on a study of the undergraduate program, documents relating to continuing education, budget documents, correspondence planning for the School's centennial year, notes on management, accounting, and boards of directors, memos to the MBA I teaching group, photographs of UWO faculty as well as correspondence, memos, and reports sent to or written by Thompson as part of his role as a faculty member.
