Item is a coil-bound book prepared by the curriculum sub-committee of the Edmonton Public School Local Alberta Teachers’ Association in cooperation with Edmonton Public Schools. It details the reasons for using Community Resources in education and provides a directory for field trips. Within the book are photographs of a class which were taken by a Parkview School teacher.

Item is a collection of booklets combined into a kit. The information in the kit is from 1880-1981, predominantly 1910-1946. Item is an educational kit used by students at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Education.

Item is a booklet produced by Edmonton Public Schools instructing new Elementary School teachers on how to organize their teaching day and classroom. Of note is a breakdown of how many minutes per week each subject should be taught. As well, a page entitled Testing Program lists the tests to be taken by students in grades I through VI.

Item consists of timetables for individual Junior High School teachers within Edmonton Public Schools. Each timetable lists the courses taught in each period and includes the number of periods given to each subject. The teacher’s extracurricular activities are included. The file is divided by school by not all schools are included.

Item is an example of the forms filled out by the schools that required alphabetical listings of teachers, hours of school operation, and the day and month and time of staff meetings. Bonnie Doon, Eastwood, McArthur and Queen’s Avenue all include non-instructional staff.

Item is a list of the teachers in each school. For each teacher, it lists the grade the teacher taught, the rating the teacher received from the school inspector for both 1924 and 1925, and the name of the inspector who evaluated the teacher.

Edmonton Public School Board Teachers’ Contract and Salary Record

Series consists of index cards listing yearly contract and salary records for teachers. Each card includes a teacher’s name, school, date of contract agreement, salary, type of teacher’s certificate, and first day of service. On verso is a record of work by month and day and of monthly payments. Data handwritten. Series is incomplete. It includes surnames from Ainsley to Scott.

Teacher Timetable and Class Load Survey Project

Item is a summary of the Edmonton Public Schools project which took input reports (Teacher Schedule, Class Load and School Specification data) and used a CPU to produce output reports (Teacher Timetable, School Timetable and Class Load Reports).
