The sub-sub-series consists of records pertaining to the Columbia Brewing Company. The company was incorporated under British Columbia’s Companies Act on February 10, 1950, under the name Interior Holdings Limited, but changed its name to Interior Breweries Limited on June 1 of the same year. It changed its name again, to Columbia Brewing Company Limited, on March 22, 1972. In 1978, Labatt Breweries of British Columbia Limited purchased the company, absorbing some of its assets, and creating Columbia Brewing (1978) Limited to manage the others. The latter company was dissolved on November 10, 1988.
