The fonds also contains photographs of radio technicians' courses at University of Western Ontario, London, Ont., 1941-1942; and radio physics class, 1949; and photographs of Raymond Compton Dearle with family; and items of honors and awards.

In 1940 with the London Association for War Research and the National Research Council, Dr. Dearle led the Physics Department at the University of Western Ontario through an intensive radar research program as well as training programs for radio technicians. Series consists of a memorandum to the National Research Council by the London Association for War Research (1940), wartime research and training correspondence between R.C. Dearle and the National Research Council (1939-1941), and memoranda by the University of Western Ontario (1942, 1943, n.d.).
